Rolling with Rola

This issue’s cover features one of Japan’s top celebrities — the multicultural, multitalented model and actress Rola. Tokyo Journal rolled with Rola through the streets of L.A. and combed the beaches of Santa Monica, Newport and Laguna in California.

Legendary Actor Tatsuya Nakadai

We were honored to spend the afternoon with Tatsuya Nakadai, one of Japan’s greatest actors who starred in many Akira Kurosawa films.

Tito Time in Tokyo

We got to meet Tito Jackson and his brothers in Las Vegas, where we had the treat of seeing The Jacksons show off their incredible musical talent on stage. We later interviewed Tito in Tokyo and L.A., which reminded us of what a class act he is. Tito’s first solo effort, Tito Time, is a testament to his true talent as a singer, songwriter and guitarist.

Travel to Tokyo

In this issue, TJ recommends some of the top hotels in Tokyo, as well as several upscale serviced apartments for longer stays.
